As long as the domain is not already taken! However the drawback is that you have to use your new email address with AOL’s webmail and you don’t really own it. You can’t transfer that domain elsewhere and you can’t do anything with the domain except host your AOL webmail with it. Yep, it’s free.

OpenDNS was founded by David Ulevitch in 2005. Since then it has grown tremendously. OpenDNS is an alternate DNS service, it’s faster, smarter and safer to use compared to your default ISP provided DNS service.

I’ve tested this myself and can confirm that it doesn’t browsing faster. It’s really noticeable on websites such as MySpace.com. It’s smarter because it figures out common spelling mistakes when typing the URL into the address bar, it fixes common mistakes such as .og and automatically changes it to .org.
