Podcast Episode #1 for Stony Brook University
- October 2nd, 2007
- Stony Brook, About Me
Welcome to my first podcast! I had some time this afternoon and all the right tools so I decided to run a podcasting trial. I’m sorry that I sound a little tired, it’s because I am, future recordings shouldn’t be that bad. I am going to have to take some caffeine pills or something.
I’m new to podcasting and never did one before today but I hope this becomes successful!

So I will do a podcast every week recapping on my posts for the week, I will give a brief summary of each of my posts and add a little that I might have missed. So without further ado, here is my first podcast.

You clearly had content, but the production value was kind of..lame. the interruptions could’ve easily been edited out.
by the way what software did you use?.

Thanks for the feedback, a download link would be nice too, I’ll make sure to put that on the next one.
As for the production, yeah I know it was lame, I wanted to keep the interruptions to make this as real as possible, I wasn’t really aiming for professionalism however it could still be more professional without loosing its genuinely.
I used the Blue Snowball Microphone with Adobe SoundBooth and Audition.
Are you an expert in podcasting? I might have a few questions for you actually.
Again, thank you Gabriel!
